Mano Amiga

Mano Amiga Awards designed to recognize and encourage the work of individuals, organizations, institutions and groups, both public and private. These awards were designed regardless of its scope, which contribute to the fight against the disease and to a better quality of life for those affected by the Alzheimer's disease and their families.

29 candidacies were received for the three categories;

Institution: which recognizes the work of an institution, entity or group for their actions, and work experience in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.

Individual: which recognizes the work undertaken by professionals in the fields of research, joint studies and development on behalf of people affected by Alzheimer’s disease.

Individual Recognition from the general public: which recognizes the work undertaken and commitment made anonymously by individuals and groups on behalf of people affected by Alzheimer’s disease.

The jury will meet soon to choose the winning candidate in each of the three categories and be given proper dissemination of the winners.

The celebration of International Mano Amiga Awards will be held on October 14th in the auditorium of the city of Leon.
