The Queen Sofia, will be awarded on ‘Mano Amiga’ awards from Alzheimer León, which recognizes the work of institutions, families and researchers.

The Queen Sofia has confirmed his attendance at the traditional charity gala where Mano Amiga receive the prize in the name Anonymous with for their efforts and personal dedication for decades to the fight against Alzheimer's.

In this edition also collected his award Dr. Pablo Martinez-Lage, in the individual category, for his professional involvement in the investigation of disease and early diagnosis as well as the European Working Group for Persons with Dementia of Alzheimer Europe, Hand will receive the Amiga Award in the institutional category. The reason, innovative initiative to create a working forum of people affected by some form of dementia and participating in decisions and projects Alzheimer Europe.

The awards ceremony will take place on October 14 at 19.30h. in the Auditorio Ciudad de León.
